SPICY SPRING ROLLS
Did somebody say Spring is in the air? Well with that in mind, we would like to roll out these delightful Spicy Spring Rolls.
Not only are they easy to make, but they can be eaten at any time of the day and enjoyed by the whole family.
- WHAT YOU WILL NEED -
- FOR THE SAUCE
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp CHS Tastebud SPICY
- ½ cup warm water
- 10 rice paper wrappers
- 2 carrots, julienned
- ½ pineapple, julienned
- ½ sml purple cabbage, shredded
- 1 lrg cucumber, julienned
- Handful fresh mint leaves
- 1 lrg avocado, sliced
- CHS Tastebud SPICY
- METHOD -
To make the sauce - combine all the ingredients and whisk together until smooth. Set aside.
Prep vegetables and have them all ready before assembling.
Dip the rice paper wrapper in room temperature water for 15 seconds. Drip dry and place onto a clean work surface. Then, place a little bit of each vegetable in the wrapper, finish with the avocado and season it generously with the CHS Tastebud Spicy Seasoning. Wrap each spring roll up and keep them under a damp towel until they are all rolled.
Serve sliced in half with the dipping sauce and extra CHS Tastebud Spicy Seasoning. Enjoy.
