Manufacturing Cost Accountant

Responsibilities

1. Develop Manufacturing analysis reports and analyzing variance

• WIP Variances (Yield and Cost)
• Manufacturing Cycle and Changeover Time
• Through Put (standards per unit)
• Capacity Utilization
• OEE
• Schedule or Production Attainment
• Wastage
• OTIF

2. Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory and manufacturing movement 

3. Verify accurate costs

4. Monitoring inventory transactions and ensuring ERP live and accurate

5. Implementation and management of periodic stock counts

6. Implementation and management of recovery costs within BOMs

7. Assisting in implementation and then management of barcoding system.

8. Assist in Month End closing

9. Special projects as required

Requirements

•  Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Cost Accounting
•  2 - 5 years of Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment
• An understanding of GMP and HACCP
• Is flexible and able to work as part of a team.
• Advanced user in MS Excel
• Syspro experience advantageous
