SPICY PULL-APART BREAD

Prep 15 mins
Cooking 20 mins
Serves 4-6

We are making sure that we have covered all (up-and-coming) 'Braai Day' bases to ensure that you have zero excuses for a braai/ barbeque (for our overseas followers) feast of note!

This one is super easy, with 'wow' factor potential to pull together that spread.

- WHAT YOU WILL NEED -

  • 1 sourdough loaf
  • ½ cup parsley, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 ½ cups mozarella cheese, grated
  • 2 Tbsp sun dried tomatoes
  • ½ cup feta cheese
  • 2 Tbsp (or more, depending on how hot you like it) SRIRACHA CHILLI

- METHOD -

Slice the ready-made sourdough loaf in strips, horizontally and then vertically, without cutting all the way through. In a small bowl, combine the garlic, melted butter and parsley and mix to combine. Then, using a spoon (or your fingers), rub the butter mixture into the bread. In a separate bowl, combine the olive oil, mozzarella, sun-dried tomtoes, feta cheese and Cape Herb & Spice Sriracha Chilli Seasoning. Mix well before stuffing the cheese mixture as evenly as possible between the rows of bread. Adding extra mozzarella if desired. Finally, wrap the loaf in heavyweight foil (with the shiny side facing in) and place in the oven or on the braai grid over hot coals for at least 20 minutes. Enjoy with the rest of your braai feast favourites!
