Product Developer/ Project Manager- Gifting

Key Responsibilities:
•    The Gifting Division is looking for a dynamic Product Developer to lead projects for key export and local customers and drive the growth of this innovative business.

Key Functional Areas: 
•    Work with the team to create trend forward gifting concepts that tap into innovation of flavour, packaging and design
•    Project manage and execute all stages of the product development process within given deadlines to ensure product is launched on time and detail recorded is accurate and product meets customer requirement
•    Manage sustainable sourcing of new raw materials, packaging and kitchenware from compliant suppliers
•    Cost products and deliver a commercially viable and competitive offering 
•    Ensure product conforms to country specific regulations on product and packaging
•    Work with technical to ensure NPD compliance to continuously updated certification
•    Work with design to create innovative and practical packaging concepts and eye-catching design
•    Problem solving to overcome development issues and meet customer requirements
•    Writing of descriptions of contents for packaging and sales material
•    Creation of pitch presentations on PowerPoint
•    Thorough communication related to new products between internal customer focused and operational departments on all new projects to ensure effective launches

Required Knowledge and Skills
•    Fluency with Excel and PowerPoint
•    Strong numeracy skills 

Required Prior Learning/ Experience
•    Tertiary qualification
•    3-5 year’s working experience in Product Development, Project Management or related role 
•    Advantageous Qualifications: 
-    Food Science
-    BCom Marketing/ Business
-    Project Management
•    Advantageous Experience in:
