This product, harmless when dry, transforms into a fiery condiment once rehydrated. Add small amounts to sauces and bakes to enhance the natural flavour or make your own homemade sauce by combining ½ a cup of mustard powder and ½ a cup of vinegar with salt, pepper and sugar to taste, gently simmer for 30 minutes and then beat in 3 egg yolks before cooling.
